Anushka gave her consent to be part of Tamil ‘Vedam’ too. She will do the same role that she enacted in Vedam, i.e. Saroja, a prostitute in the Tamil version also. Tamil remake is titled as Vaanam and the shoot will commence on Saturday. There were reports in the media that Anushka might not do this role in Tamil for some personal reasons. However, Simbu and Manoj, who are playing the other two main roles in Vaanam repeatedly requested Anushka to be a part of it and the actress finally agreed to act in it. Krish will direct the Tamil version and Yuvan Shankar Raja is roped into score the music. Nirav Shah handles the camera and Antony is the editor.
